Burrage went on their winning way when they defeated Gorleston Cons 9 - 1 but the losers fought for every point. The Cons club went down again this time at the hands of the Yarcon Police 8 games to 2 and again when they met Yarcon "A" where they went away empty handed Yarcon Dynamos had two good victories- the first when they met Yarcon Sparks winning 9 games to 1 and then against Kings Church "A" 7 games to 3 Terry Shetliffle did the damage with a good maximum putting Dynamos in to the driving seat for a well deserved victory. Kings Church "A" could only muster two players when they met St Johns - Mike Wood was their only winner in a 9 - 1 loss. Wally Ladmore reigned supreme when St Johns "B" met Yarcons "A" and was ably supported by Paul Wright Jnr and Darren Swann with two each - four of the matches went to five- final score 8 - 2. ENSFC "C" team came up against their "B" side and found them just too strong going down 9 games to 1. Caister CA "A" notched up a 9 - 1 victory over a weakened Broadland Social Club team who had Phil Hayes score the only point when he defeated Malcolm King. Caister then met Mill Lane and in an exciting match- 6 matches went to 5 and in a ding-dong doubles Caister just snatched victory to give them a well deserved draw. In another close match with 4 games going the distance the outcome could have been different but Yarcon Telecom ground out a good 8 - 2 victory when they met Kings Church "B". Cliff Park Lions had Josh Baker taking his three but they could not stop the Tigers winning 7 games to 3. The Lions then met a two man Kings Church team and went down 6 games to 4 but not before young Josh Baker had scored an excellent win at 12 - 10 in the fifth against Simon Rouse- some great T T.
